Preproduction copy arrival!

Hello dragonbonded! 

We are so excited to share with you that the preproduction copy arrived yesterday and it is awesome! 

We found some minor corrections in some images that printed a bit darker and other minor details we found, a new PDF version will be updated to Lair this month. We sent the corrected files to the factory and are awaiting for the digital proofs before moving to mass production. We are getting closer!

Remember that you can always reach us at [email protected] if you need help locating your PDF in LAIR. Try resetting your password in LAIR if you have not logged in yet.

We are gonna havea special live stream via our Facebook page today,where we will show the book and some fun facts behind the scenes! You are welcome to join us today (June 10th) at 13:00 hrs CT. (10 minutes after this update is posted on Kickstarter).

Moving to the plastic miniatures, all preproduction copies were approved. We have been in constant communication with Panda, our manufacturer, they are still working on the steel molds prior to start mass production. It seems possible that production for the miniatures will finish slightly later than expected, we will keep you updated about this in the next update to provide an accurate ETA or if we are able to provide split shipping.

PDF Book fulfilled!

Hello Dragonbonded!

Time has come that we fulfilled the PDF book from Great Wyrms of Drakha! You should be able to see it in your Lair's library and download it. 

We did it once again... we promised around 200 pages and overdelivered 316 pages! We are so thankful for your trust and support that the decision is easy when we realize we have more content than expected.

In the book you will find the final illustration by Fernando Martinez & Todd Ulrich of the creature you voted for, a reptilian version of the Displacer beast through the Drakha-filter. What do you think?

We already sent all files to Panda (book and revised miniatures packaging). We are awaiting for the digital proofs before moving to the preproduction copy and, afterwards, mass production. We are one step closer for fulfilling the physical rewards!

A new family game of ours on Kickstarter

Dragonbond is just 1 of the 3 universes we develop at Draco Studios, being Creature Kingdoms the most light-hearted one.

In partnership with Detestable Games,  Kiwi Chow Down went live on Kickstarter and Day-1 has been EPIC! The journey to gather the largest Kiwi Tribe has begun!

The primary goal is to deliver a fully stretched board game and the second one is breaking our Dodos Riding Dinos backer-count record as the most backed campaign in Mexico. Red Moon Monday: Baastherox's Massive Lair fulfilled

 Hello dragonbonded!

Are you ready to fly to Drakha and face the great wyrms, the azhurmas?

We have delightful news! Only 2 arts away of finishing the whole book, the deadline for those is Thursday, so expect news soon!

The PDF adventure book will also be available via LAIR, and before anything else, we want to share with you the final cover by Lucas Graciano!

Baastherox, the Mightiest, victorious as usual from an assault of adult dragons. Some survivors flying away. You can also spot a couple of adventurers who witnessed the fight are taking cover. 

Get ready to test your party of adventurers in the epic fight against each of these dragons.

We also received the pre-production boxes for the plastic miniatures and they look gorgeous! We did minor changes on the color and we are awaiting the digital proofs from Panda!

Steel molds for the plastic miniatures have been ordered and production is about to start!

MASSIVE LAIRS

We have received some emails from you, asking for the massive lairs. We originally planned to sculpt all them in-house but they are REALLY big and demanding more time so we are getting reinforcements and have partnered with Black Magic Pixels who will sculpt Nixis' lair!

Also, we know you are eager to start printing before your dragons arrive, so we uploaded the Titan's Skull to Lair. You should have received an email to enter BUT! if you didn't, please go to https://library.lair.store/ and "reset your password". If that doesn't work, please contact [email protected] and we will gladly help you get your credentials for access.

Results for backers' choice: New creature 

Here are the results for the community created creature, an unlocked stretch goals.  

Our lore team created the Scaleshifter, a fearsome predator from the Red Moon’s deserts and caves, a large hunter lizard with two coiling ‘tails’ on its shoulders, with the ability to shift its scales to reflect light. This gives the scaleshifter several hunting advantages, allowing it to camouflage itself, blind its enemies with sunlight, or even project a mirage of its body, masking its actual position. 

We integrated some of your ideas and suggestions and here's a sketch, still in progress to get the full color art.

Thanks to all backers who are helping us proofreading the adventures as beta readers! 

By now, 6 of 7 adventures have been uploaded for proofreading and your comments will help us deliver the best product. If you would like to have access to the preliminary adventures as a Beta Reader, send us an email to [email protected] with the subject "GWoD Beta Reader"

On April 15th we will start committing changes to adventures based on your comments, so we have digital fulfillment on April 30th.

Today we want to talk about the unlocked stretch goals!

First, we are now working on the Historical Endings for the adventures. While these are not mandatory for GMs to follow, they are a great resource for GMs and will show more about the canon story from Dragonbond. These will be in an Appendix at the end of the book.

As you remember, we unlocked a New Creature for the bestiary and we want to involve you in the development of this book and Dragonbond. So please answer the survey below to let us know your preferred choice.

The idea is to dragon-ize an iconic creature through the Drakha filter. We have already included something like this in the adventures (or future releases) but there are still a lot of them and feel free to suggest more in the Google form.

We are now looking for beta readers; some chapters of the book are nearly finished and we will accept all the help we can get to spot typos or errors.

New Cover art by Lucas Graciano! That's right, thanks to your support by unlocking the stretch goal we decided to create a new cover for the book. Lucas Graciano is a multi award-winning artist with breathtaking fantasy illustrations for companies like Wizards of the Coast, Paizo, Blizzard, Sony and more. We are sure that Lucas and Tom Babbey (art director) will blow our minds with the new cover.
