Halfway there. Much love... and an unexpected challenge

Hello Dragonbonded!

First of all: THANK YOU!

We're at 65%+ funding and the trend is both encouraging and humbling. Just 1/3 left to fund! If we keep going at this rate, we might see the campaign fully funded sometime next week, and then things get to be more interesting for you and us at Draco Studios, as we firmly enter into stretch goals' territory!

Here's a sneak peek to a "fresh from the oven" art illustration from Baastherox:

WIP illustrated by Aldo Dominguez, Baastherox's concept by Tom Babbey

This is still a work in progress but we were so excited that we wanted to share it with you!

Atop his bone plinth we see Baastherox, the Mightiest, ready to accept any challengers. The bones beneath belong to those Baastherox has defeated. Walls inside of the massive titan skull, are full of written paragraphs in draconic runes, telling the story of Baastherox and his philosophy of life.

Amazing, right?

Here's a sneak peek of the almost-finished titan's skull, can you imagine having the encounter there? Baastherox fits inside even being 200mm tall! We are starting test prints for this STL model.

Compatible with OpenLOCK system, sculpted by Axolote Gaming

Also, as far as content of the book is concerned, we are still working hard on the adventures, making sure they are exciting and different.

We plan to deliver a great product on time!

Then, we ponder about love. We love what we're doing. Everyone at Draco is pulling long hours and/or rising quite early to tackle each new day's goals and challenges head on... and we love it. We know this will come through with our finished products and the experience they will bring you once you receive your rewards.

Then, some more pondering about love... that of our community. You guys are great! We have many returning backers and we're seeing increasingly new faces everyday, and we know this is because of the good word our backers put out for us. Your comments, shares and likes are a testimony of your believing in what we do, and your photos are proof of what we are capable of achieving when working in concert. Your fantastic and beautifully painted minis are an important part of our success.

This brings us to all this love we get from you turning into... a most unexpected challenge.

Our ambassador and backer Michelle, being supportive and assertive as always, took to Instagram and issued one heck of a challenge: our Great Wyrms of Drakha facing off against celebrity Dungeon Master Joe Manganiello! So, we'd like to ask all our backers' help in making this possible... our majestic dragons are up for it! They'll take on all comers!

You can go to @michellelacourt 's corner of Instagram, tag Joe or retweet her challenge on Twitter among your friends and loved ones. Let's make this a battle for the ages!

We have introduced the Community Goals and one of them is to have 25 photos of the Baastherox's bust! As mentioned on the image, if you paint it, automatically you enter to a painting contest to win a set of dice! But just posting a picture of your 3D print and tagging us in social media or using the hashtag #DracoStudios will help complete community goals to unlock more complex-structures for the lair battlemaps.

Finally, we would love to hear your thoughts in the Baastherox's free sample adventure, how did it go? Let us know in the comments and if you haven't play it... what are you waiting for?! Download here!
